When I eventually sold the GPz750 I was without a bike for a few weeks and came across my first real restoration project a 1972 Honda 750 K2.

I did a total strip and rebuild including the engine and loved every minute of doing it.

It had the loudest 4:1 exhaust I had ever heard as I just pulled the baffle out. It ran like a dog and didn’t have any real power…I think largely down to the lack of baffles and my early engine rebuilding skills.

Sometimes wish I had kept this one and done a full concourse restoration project as they seem to be fetching good money these days.
